Why choose Vinyl?
Do you need underlay for Vinyl Flooring?
9/10 you will not need underlay for vinyl however there maybe a few exceptions where underlay may be necessary. The purpose and design of vinyl flooring prevents any need for underlay and reduces cost.
Does the floor need preparing?
The Subfloor of your home is very important when it comes to the preparation for vinyl flooring. Any imperfection can cause disfigurement, Damage and effect the longevity of your flooring. Here we Abfab we do offer a floor levelling service, which can be discussed on your initial measure.
What is LVT Flooring?
LVT = Luxury Vinyl Tiles which is one of the most popular flooring products across the UK! Coming in a range of realistic looks from Wood, Ceramic tile & stone it is easy to see why people love the product.
LVT is perfect for homes with children, elderly family members or pets as it is completely waterproof, comes with different levels of scratch resistant coatings and benefits from low maintenance.
Do you provide a fitting service?
We generally ask for rooms to be cleared prior to fitting however, our fitters can move most furniture if required. We can also uplift and dispose of existing flooring. There is a fee for both services, and this will need to be arranged inline with your order.
Can you install vinyl on stairs?
Yes – Vinyl flooring can be fitted on stairs with the use of appropriate stair nosing. We will support you with this option as there is a great choice of finishes.
